Johannes is a music producer, composer, arranger, and audio engineer who graduated summa cum laude from Berklee College of Music with a double major in Music Production & Engineering and Contemporary Writing & Production. He studied on a scholarship and was honored with the MP&E Engineering Scholar Award for outstanding achievement in music production and audio engineering. During his time at Berklee, he founded the Berklee Collaboration Platform (BCP) - a student organization connecting Berklee artists with musicians worldwide to foster international collaboration. He was also selected as one of the student assistants to work alongside Grammy-winning engineers and producers, including Larry Klein and Matt Rollings, gaining hands-on experience in world-class recording sessions. Johannes completed an internship at the famous Teldex Studio in Berlin, widely regarded as Germany’s premier recording facility and home to one of the world’s most exceptional vintage microphone collections. There, he assisted Grammy-winning engineers and producers and contributed to sessions with internationally acclaimed artists and musicians, further refining his skills in high-end recording environments. Having grown up with classical music and trained in violin and piano, Johannes developed an intuitive sense for melody and harmony. His compositional talent was recognized when one of his solo piano works was selected for performance at a Berklee concert. Today, as a freelance producer and engineer, Johannes records, produces, and mixes music for artists from around the globe. His creative philosophy centers on a single guiding principle: to materialize the artist’s vision and serve the song.
